The lens stays firmly in place while RhinoCam Vertex's movable platform positions the sensor for multiple, precisely positioned shots. After the capture process, it only takes a few seconds to stitch the multiple shots together into a larger image using the automatic stitching feature built into Adobe® Photoshop® and other software offerings. RhinoCam Vertex images are completed using the more precise flat stitching method, eliminating the perspective errors and curvilinear distortion found in images stitched together using spherical stitching, which are often found in motorized systems that move both the camera body and the lens.

  • • This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
  • • Some cameras need to be set up in a certain way to work with our adapters, or you may receive a message such as "Error: Lens not attached - check lens".

  • Because manual lens adapters do not provide power to the lens, these lenses cannot focus.
  • • Set exposure manually or meter using your camera's aperture priority (stopping down) mode.
  • • If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, the lens aperture will reset to its default position, which is either stopped down to its maximum aperture stop or opened to its smallest aperture stop, depending on the lens.
