1.Speed Matters:Critical.
Use low RPM and high torque when drilling hard metals like stainless steel. High speeds will generate excess heat and quickly dull the cobalt edges.
2.Use Lubricant:Essential.
Always use cutting oil or a cooling fluid. This lubricates the cutting edge and carries heat away, preventing the bit from overheating and failing.
3.Apply Pressure:Technique.
