It's a high-airflow jacket, featuring a heavy mesh construction that lets the breeze through while keeping you protected. It features built-in padding at the elbows, shoulders and back. It also has zip-off sleeves that allow you to convert it into a short-sleeve style for maximum cooling. 

It is either hand or machine washable, but cannot be put in the dryer.
