Here we present a Japanese fluted square blue and white porcelain dish, likely from the Edo period and made in Arita.
It features a beautiful prunus pattern and floral silhouettes on the front, with additional floral sprays painted on the back. The intricate detailing and rich cobalt blue colour show the high level of artistry typical of the era.
It is possibly made by the Koransha company, known for their exceptional porcelain works. The dish is in good condition, with only minor surface wear consistent with its age.
