​Up for sale is a fantastic piece of early apothecary history: an antique Rexall Seidlitz Powders tin.


​This empty metal tin originally held 12 full-weight powders and features the classic blue Rexall logo alongside striking red lettering.


​The label notes it was manufactured by the United Drug Co. out of Boston, Mass., and references the historic Food and Drugs Act of June 30, 1906 (Serial No. 238).

​It shows authentic, heavy age-related wear that gives it a true rustic, antique charm.


​The original paper label on the lid has discoloration, staining, and some peeling and tearing around the edges and corners.


​The metal box itself has a beautiful aged patina with expected scratching, tarnishing, and oxidation inside and out.
