An exceptionally nice, high quality and as near mint condition as you will find, fully working, full hunter gents pocket watch by Muir & Son of Glasgow, Scotland.    I think it will date to circa 1920ish.

Movement:- 

      The excellent quality 17 jewel Adjusted movement with nickel finish has just been serviced.    It has been running well  with a good balance action in all positions and been  keeping good time for a 100 year old antique pocket watch.     Button winding and hand set both function well.

Case:-  

      The beautiful condition Rolled Gold full hunter case measures 50mm diameter approx.      The Gold Plating is in excellent unworn  condition but has a couple of unknown minor blemished inside the front cover which does not detract from the overall excellent condition of the watch.       It has polished up very well to look just like a beautiful gold watch.    It has good strong unstressed hinges and all the covers close well.        The front cover springs opens easily and fully when the winding button is pressed .      

Dial:-

     It has a beautiful clean white ceramic dial with black Roman numerals and a smaller seconds dial.  Original blued steel hands and clear original crystal glass all add to the excellent quality of the watch.

     An excellent condition pocket watch for the Collector or for Occasional Use.
