Sopharma's Indomethacin is intended for local symptomatic treatment of pain and swelling in inflammatory and degenerative diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system (tendons, muscles and joints). It is suitable for localized forms of extra-articular rheumatism (tendinitis, synovitis, tendovaginitis, inflammation of the fascia and ligaments, bursitis), as well as for some forms of arthritis of the hands, feet or spine. The product contains the active substance indomethacin, which belongs to a group of drugs called antirheumatic or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Method of application:
For children over 15 years of age and adults: the ointment is applied to the affected area 3 - 4 times a day, carefully rubbing into the skin until it is completely absorbed. The amount of ointment required for one application depends on the treated area and is about 4 - 5 cm. It is applied at intervals of no less than 6 hours.
