Vintage Hand Carved Dark Wood Elephant Figurine – Rustic Antique Folk Art Statue
​Up for sale is a vintage, hand-carved solid wood elephant figurine. This piece is carved from a dense, heavy dark wood (resembling ebony or ironwood) and features inset light-colored tusks, eyes, and toe accents that contrast beautifully against the dark grain. It features a wonderful, stately pose with a downward curved trunk, making it an excellent addition to a safari theme, global folk art collection, or rustic home decor display.

​Length: Approx. 7.5 inches (19 cm) from the front curve of the trunk to the hindquarters.
​Height: Approx. 6.75 inches (17 cm) from the base to the highest point of the back.
​Width: Approx. 3.5 inches (9 cm) across the widest part of the front chest.
​Condition & Character Notes:
This is an authentic vintage/antique item with a highly rustic, weathered character. It shows significant signs of age, including natural wood splitting/cracking on the front of the head and crown, as well as noticeable surface chipping and finish loss on the right flank and rear hip area. Additionally, one of the inset toe pieces on the front right foot is missing/damaged.
