Golden Core is proud to have saved six albums that were previously released in 1980/1981 but have never been re-released on CD or LP. REQUIEM was a band from the Stuttgart area about whom not much is known. Their only album „Steven“ is a thrilling rollercoaster ride over waves of progressive rock, hard rock and what is now often called proto-metal. It is a style that can only be found in the short period between 1979 and 1981. It is also a missing link between 70s rock and heavy metal.
