Up for auction is a pair of vintage Sonus Faber Concertino speakers, I believe the first edition.  I'm the second owner.  The speakers sound great.  When I purchased them (unheard), one original tweeter had very low output- I believe it's probably a ferro-fluid issue that can be repaired.  The other original tweeter worked fine (still does).  To maintain balance, I replaced both tweeters with SEAS tweeters that are drop-in replacements for the originals (I compared the original tweeter to the installed replacement and they sounded pretty much the same).  BOTH ORIGINAL tweeters are included with the speakers.  Cosmetic condition is very good- the grilles look great as does the leather.  The walnut sides have some dimples/depressions/scratches that are more visible only at certain angles.  The other issue is that the input terminal plates have cracks where the screws were probably over-tightened prior to my ownership.  The plates stay in place fine and there's no discernible effect on the sound.  I'm trying to downsize, not very successfully so far, and it's time to let go of some of my higher-end equipment.  Offered AS IS, as described.  Please check the photos to judge cosmetic condition and ask any questions prior to bidding.  Shipping only within the lower 48 US states.  Local pickup welcome.  Thanks for looking.
