Lovely Edwardian 18K yellow gold boat shaped band set with three fiery cabochon opals and four mine-cut diamonds in a design that sits beautifully off the finger. The setting is a closed gallery with beautifully engraved floral scrolls leading to carved acanthus leaves on the shoulders. The band is a size 6. It has English hallmarks for 18K gold and Birmingham 1901. No makers mark.

The center opal measures approximately +/- 4.1mm, and the other opals approximately +/- 2.3mm. The diamonds range approximately +/- 1mm each.

The ring band is approximately .8mm thick by 1.9mm wide at the back, or 1.2mm thick and 2.4mm wide just before the shoulders. It weighs approximately +\- 2 grams total with gem stones. Wear appropriate for age, with minor scratches to band and opals. The diamonds are generally irregular in shape and two of the diamonds have small chips likely only visible under a microscope as shown in photos.
