Thanks to its 400 Series OCLV Carbon Construction the racing road bike is truly special, it has an optimised weight to strength ratio, while also ensuring lateral stiffness is at its highest possible level for a responsive ride that sends you flying over any road. The BB90 has been used in the design of the Trek Silque SL, this is notable due to the fact that this is the widest bottom bracket on a road bike, making for a lighter and stiffer feel at the bottom of the frame for immense acceleration when demanded.
With WSD geometry in its design the Trek road bike positions you in a way so that you receive optimal power transfer while also being comfortable, stable and in control at all times. An IsoSpeed Decoupler helps double the vertical compliance, giving you the ability to ride harder and longer. This is done by separating the seat tube of the Trek Silque from the rest of the frame, allowing it to rotate freely for a comfortable and stable ride on rough roads, without compromising on pedalling efficiency!
