Ensuring your pond remains clean and healthy for fish and plants is easily achieved with one of these PondHero Pump & Filter Sets. Simply choose the right sized kit to fit your pond size then everything is included in the package to put together your pond filter system straight away - staright out of the box. The filter pump sucks in dirty water then pumps it through to the filter where the dirt and debris is collected in filter foams. For cleaning just crank the handle on the top of the filter to agitate and shake the internal foams. Then watch the dirty water get flushed from the water towards your drain (no waste outlet on 3000 and 4000 models) All sets include 25mm hose (1 inch) of 5 metre length (16 feet) and hoseclips to keep everything watertight. TROUBLESHOOTING: Check power – Make sure the pump is plugged in and switched on. Clean the pump – Remove debris from the impeller and casing. Check for blockages – Inspect hose and intake for clogs. Prime the pump – Ensure the pump is fully submerged and not sucking air. Inspect the impeller – Look for damage or wear. Listen for noise – Unusual sounds may indicate a jammed or dry pump. Test with no hose – Run pump in water alone to rule out hose issues. Check water level – Ensure there's enough water for proper operation. Verify flow rate – Low flow could mean a dirty filter or blockage. Reset or replace – If all else fails, try a reset (if available) or consider replacement.
