there is the engraved initials "E.T.W."
made by the renowned silversmith Walker & Hall
Fully hallmarked with Crown head for Sheffield assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "r" for the year 1909 and the maker's mark "W & H" which is Walker & Hall.
Condition - In very good condition, all hinges are tight closing both lids securely, spring work well, push button clasp works perfectly with the lid springing open,
there no nasty dents, no dinks, dints, splits, holes or repairs, and the silver gilt is rich and bright
there is just a small shallow minor bruise to the back which is hard to notice.
