This auction is for an actual celluloid from the 1990's X-Men cartoon.After the big battle between the X-Men and the Shi'ar Jean is left in the realization that she doesn't have complete control over the Phoenix Force. Cyclops tries to comfort her as she decides her inevitable fate as a cosmic being. I'm showing pictures of the front and back of the celluloid because it shows the actual paint and how they made animation by hand in the 1990's. This is from the season three episode The Dark Phoenix Saga Part 4. It is an actual painted celluloid from the making of the original X-Men series in the 1990's!
The celluloid is about 10.5 inches wide and 9 inches tall. Both characters are on one celluloid layer. Jean is 5 inches tall and Cyclops is 5.5 inches tall. The background is a printed out reproduction.
