Description

A pair of vintage studio pottery bowls attributed to Peter Dick for Coxwold Pottery, North Yorkshire. Each bowl carries the impressed Coxwold apple tree mark to the base.

Finished in rich brown and black speckled glazes over a terracotta body, these bowls display the warm rustic character for which Coxwold Pottery became well known. Peter and Jill Dick were important figures within the British studio pottery movement, producing handmade pottery in North Yorkshire from the 1960s onwards.

Ideal for collectors of British studio ceramics, country pottery, or handcrafted decorative wares.
