Charming vintage French pottery table waste bowl marked “Poubelle de Table” (table waste bin), produced in Vallauris, France. Traditionally used on dining tables for olive stones, shellfish shells, fruit peelings and other small table waste. Finished in a warm mottled brown, cream and amber glaze typical of Vallauris pottery, making it both practical and decorative.

A lovely piece of mid-century French pottery with strong rustic Mediterranean appeal.
