Appearance: fine-dispersed free-flowing powder from white to light yellow with a light aroma.

Solubility: Completely soluble in water (Water-soluble), insoluble in oils.

Optimal working pH range in cosmetics: 5.0 – 7.5 (demonstrates high stability in both weakly acidic and neutral environments).

Method of production: purified proteolytic enzyme obtained by extraction and subsequent drying from purified milky juice (latex) of unripe papaya fruits (Carica papaya).

Thermal stability: the product is a biologically active enzyme, therefore it is very sensitive to high temperatures. It is strictly forbidden to heat it above 35–40°C. Introduce strictly at the final stage of preparation into the cooled active phase of aqueous products, or use in anhydrous (dry) formulations, where its stability is maximum.

Cosmetic use:

0.5 – 3.0% (0.5–1% for daily cleansers, tonics and toothpastes; 1.5–3% for intensive enzyme peels, masks and hair growth retarders).

- Enzyme powders for skin cleansing (in dry anhydrous form) - 1.5 – 3.0%.

- Enzyme peeling masks, gels and exfoliants - 1.0 – 2.0%.

- Soothing lotions and serums after shaving and hair removal - 1.0 – 1.5%.

- Cleansing toothpastes (gels) - 1.0%.

- Soft daily foams and gels for washing (for oily and problem skin) - 0.5 – 1.0%.

Precautions: before first use, conduct a sensitivity test; do not use in oral hygiene with weak gums.

Storage: Store in original, tightly closed packaging in a dry, cool and dark place at a temperature of +4°C to +15°C. The powder is very hygroscopic, so protect it from the slightest moisture.
