Used Photography Equipment
Featuring a constant f/5.6 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, the lens offers consistent exposure settings while maintaining a relatively compact size for a telephoto zoom of its era. Nikon's renowned optical design delivers pleasing sharpness, contrast, and colour rendition, while the smooth manual focusing action allows precise control when composing shots.
Constructed to Nikon's high AI-S standards, the lens features a durable all-metal build and classic handling that appeals to both film photographers and mirrorless users adapting vintage lenses. A solid performer with impressive reach, the Nikkor 100-300mm f/5.6 AI-S remains a popular choice for those seeking a traditional manual-focus telephoto zoom.
Lens is in working order and the exterior is in lovely condition, especially for the age. The push pull zoom is slightly loose and does drop if the lens is tilted upward but remains in position on a downward tilt. Optically the lens does have fungus so would benefit from a clean.
