A rare vintage Rolex Oyster Speedking reference 2595 in 14k rose gold, dating circa 1946 and offered in the smaller 29mm case size characteristic of the period. The two-piece Oyster case is fitted with an engine-turned bezel that shows signs of past polishing, while the original lume dial has developed a richly patinated surface over the decades. The Arabic numerals have aged to a darker tone, leaving pronounced halos around their edges, while the Mercedes hands appear to have been relumed at some point in the watch's life. Completing the period details are the original pink gold Rolex Oyster crown with Rolex cross. Powered by a manual-wind chronometer movement and paired with a brown lizard strap, this Speedking wears its age, offering the kind of character that cannot be replicated.
