Description
Antique mid-Victorian relief-moulded stoneware jug with ornate floral and scroll decoration, complete with Thompson’s Patent pewter lid and thumbpiece.

The jug has a grey-blue stoneware body with raised moulded detail and textured ground. The pewter lid is intact and working, with light age-related patina. The base shows a British Registration Diamond mark, dating the design to the mid-19th century.

A decorative antique piece suitable for collectors of Victorian stoneware, Staffordshire pottery, pewter-lidded jugs or period interior display.
