📝 Item Description
You are looking at the Blood Records exclusive "Ripples in a Pond" pressing of Paul McCartney's The Boys of Dungeon Lane — a crystal clear LP with blue and white liquid splatter effect, embossed cover art with blue lettering, limited to 4,000 hand-numbered copies in a one-time pressing run that Blood Records confirms will never be re-pressed; sold out in a matter of hours. Released globally May 29, 2026, The Boys of Dungeon Lane is Paul McCartney's 18th solo studio album — his most introspective record to date, finding him writing with rare openness about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, the resilience of his parents, and early adventures shared with George Harrison and John Lennon long before the world had ever heard of Beatlemania. Produced by Andrew Watt and featuring Ringo Starr on tambourine, the album spans Wings-style rock, Beatles-style harmonies, McCartney-style grooves, understated intimacy, and character songs — the common thread being Paul himself.

⭐ Product Highlights
- Blood Records exclusive "Ripples in a Pond" — crystal clear with blue and white liquid splatter effect, embossed cover art with blue lettering, limited to 4,000 hand-numbered copies; Blood Records states plainly: "Limited means limited... when they're gone they're gone. NEVER RE-PRESSED"; sold out in a matter of hours upon release
- Liquid splatter effect named for the album track "Ripples in a Pond" — a pressing whose visual concept is directly tied to the album's content; the crystal clear base with blue and white liquid splatter creates a genuinely unique visual effect that Blood Records is known for across their catalog of exclusive pressings
- Embossed cover art with blue lettering and red and blue inner sleeve — a premium physical presentation that distinguishes this from the standard black LP, the official store's alternate blue LP, and the Jacaranda Edition black LP; among the most visually distinctive of all Boys of Dungeon Lane variants
- Paul McCartney's 18th solo studio album — his most introspective record to date, revisiting his childhood in post-war Liverpool, the resilience of his parents, and early adventures with George Harrison and John Lennon before Beatlemania; a deeply personal late-career statement from one of the most culturally significant figures in the history of popular music
- Produced by Andrew Watt — the producer behind recent acclaimed work with Ozzy Osbourne, Elton John, and Pearl Jam; his partnership with McCartney on The Boys of Dungeon Lane brings a contemporary production sensibility to material that spans McCartney's entire stylistic range — Wings-style rock, Beatles-style harmonies, and character-driven storytelling songs
- Features Ringo Starr on tambourine — the first time the two surviving Beatles have appeared on a recording together in this capacity in recent years; a detail that adds genuine historical significance to this album within the broader context of Beatles and solo Beatles collector interest
- Like McCartney III in 2020, The Boys of Dungeon Lane received an aggressive multi-variant marketing strategy — Blue & White Liquid Splatter LP, Blue LP (official store), Black LP (Jacaranda Edition), and standard Black LP; the Blood Records exclusive at /4,000 is among the most visually distinctive and fastest-selling of all the variants
