It's time for me to clear out some of my non-working radios that are just way too nice to part out.  Here we have an original 1964 British Motor Corporation AM 6 volt car radio.  It comes with one inner knob which may not be correct.  I'm not sure just what this fits but research indicates that the Austin Healy may be one possible vehicle.  Part number for this radio reads 4TMB and it was made by Bendix. This unit has been bench tested and is NON-WORKING.  It will need servicing/repair.  Pushbuttons work very smoothly and set stations properly.  Manual tuning works fine up and down the scale.  There is a wire for power/dial light which is the longer wire while the 2 short wires are for the speaker.  The plastic dial lens is in very nice condition with very clear numbers and letters.  Dial light is functional.  The radio casing is very clean.  Hopefully someone can get this radio going again.  It would also make for a nice filler for the dash or a candidate for an internal FM conversion.  I will have, or currently have, other types of car radios in varying condition for sale.  I have sold many radios over the years through eBay and try to describe them as accurately as possible.  I take pride in my work and strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  I believe my feedback is a good reflection of these efforts.  Please add $12.95 for domestic shipping (insurance will be included).  International bidders welcome.  Please contact me with any questions you may have.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
