OVERVIEW

The TBC Trail Guide HLT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. TBC offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tread design improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability, in other words the tire's controllability. The symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface in all weather, which boosts its response time and accuracy to the driver's steering instructions and stabilizes the structure under the driving pressure affecting it. The large, stable shoulder tread blocks manage to increase the cornering capability. They heighten the number of biting edges which upgrade the tire's grip on the road surface during cornering and maneuvering, guaranteeing a secure performance.

The tire ensures first-rate all weather traction. The special all season compound and the ribbed pattern increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The symmetric pattern's optimal tread block placement and siping detail maintain a firm grip on the road surface throughout the year, while the tread compound offers exceptional rubber flexibility all year. The tread's four wide circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and increase the wet and winter weather driving safety.

The special durable tire compound and tread pattern work together to promote a lengthened tread life. The tread avoids irregular wear formations by evenly distributing the driving pressure along the symmetric ribbed tread area. The equal pressure circulation is further improved with the tire's optimal road contact, provided by the tire's flat footprint. The durable wear-resistant tire compound, on the other hand, significantly slows the tread wear rate down. The extended tread life provides a secure driving experience.

The Trail Guide HLT provides a quiet performance. The symmetric tread pattern manages to lower the road noise levels by channeling the airwaves through the tire's footprint. The tread does not allow the airwaves to come into contact with the tread elements and this prevents the formation of road and tread pattern noise while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the mode guarantees high comfort levels.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
