About us:
Artemis Teal is a woman-owned, US Veteran Owned, Small
business. We use recycled shipping supplies that we scavenge from others so
that we don't add more waste to the planet. We work out of our home and offer
items that are curated, unique, and unusually beautiful. Artemis is the name of
the company because we are led by a Goddess who hunts for treasures. It takes us
time to find these gems, time to clean and research them, and time to list them
for sale. We work hard to make a living, to make life worth living, and to help
make your home a beautiful place. Because where you live, what you wear and
carry, and what you use should be as beautiful as you are. We specialize
in imperfect, cultured, elegant items with patina, grace, and wear.

Condition:
No original box or bag, unless it is shown in the
photographs. We use clean, recycled shipping materials to help save the planet
and reduce costs.
Be sure your postal box can handle the size of the item
purchased. Be sure you have a
rain-protected, and heat-protected place for items that are wet-sensitive and
heat-sensitive. Some items will wrinkle in shipping, and de-wrinkling is the buyer’s
responsibility. Do not order melting items, if your postal shipping path or
final postal location is warm or hot or if your ordered item(s) will melt,
damage, or reshape while waiting for pick up in your postal location or box.
Please review all photos carefully, read the Item Specifics,
Condition Description, and full Item Description. We provide several pictures
and do our best to accurately describe all items. However, we are not experts
in everything made, so please review photos carefully and read the information
we provide before making a purchase. Items are used unless otherwise
noted.
Damaged or flawed items:
Used items are used. This means they may show wear, marks,
demarcations, patina, tarnish, threading, pilling, faint stains, slight
yellowing/darkening/lightening, and items may vary slightly in color due to
individual monitor color settings. We may not be able to tell you the maker,
mark, history, use, measurements, history, identity, value, worth, etc. of the
item we sell. What information we have is listed in the Item Description and
Item Specifics.
For some damaged and flawed items, we may require you to
speak to us via Messaging to ensure you are aware of the condition. If you know an item is damaged or flawed,
because it is listed as such, please message us directly so we know you are
aware of the condition and still wish to purchase it. If we are unable to reach
you, we may cancel the sale.
Cost:
We price our items very competitively. None the less, we set Buy It Now limits to
avoid low ball offers but to still allow for you to negotiate if you wish. Because sometimes negotiating feels like half
the fun! We get that. LOL
If an item is on sale, Ebay may not forward your offers to
us. Since the item is already on sale, your offer may be below the lowest offer
allowed, so it may be rejected by E-bay without even showing it to us. If you
feel your offer is reasonable even though the item is already on sale, you can
message us directly.
Shipping:
Our handling time is set to 3 business days, though we often
ship within 24 hours or sooner. We ship only via E-bay shipping. No 3rd
party vendors. We don’t ship to postal box locations, shippers, business
addresses, hotels, motels, hospitals, shelters, etc. International buyers must use E-bay
International Shipping, or the order will be cancelled. We do not determine
shipping costs. Shipping costs are determined by Ebay and their shipping
vendors, such as USPS and UPS. We generally do not ship via Fed Ex because of
their business practices. We always choose USPS Ground when possible.
Damage in shipping is rare. We wrap each item carefully and
mark fragile items. When damage happens, you must take your broken item to the
shipping carrier (usually USPS but occasionally UPS) and complete the forms
they require to receive a refund of your shipping costs. Artemis Teal only refunds the cost of the
item sold.
Receiving and picking up shipped items are the buyer’s
responsibility. Items returned to sender
will not be returned or refunded. Should
you fail to pick up, gather, receive, or accept an item, your postal carrier
will return the item, it will be re-inventoried, and you will not receive a
refund.
If you ship the item to the wrong postal address, you will
also not receive a refund.
If your items are stolen from your postal address after your
carrier has marked them delivered, you will not receive a refund. File a claim with the Postal carrier.
If you choose a non-tracking alternative for delivery, your
order will be cancelled.
Through no fault of Artemis Teal, if the postal carrier
takes too long to deliver an item, your patience is required. Please alert us
via messaging and we will file an official Missing Mail report and work through
postal channels for you to locate your item and/or find the issue for the
delay. Expect routine delivery delays
during bad weather events, over holidays, during government shut-downs and/or
strikes, during political or economic strife, during violent or social upheaval
events, or during similar issues within your postal region.
Volume Discounts and Combined Shipping:
If you request “combined shipping” your items will only be
combined if that can be safely done. Some items are delicate, breakable, or
difficult to pack with other items, and those items cannot be combined safely with
other items. Combined shipping discounts, when allowed, do not happen at the
purchase. Instead, E-bay only allows us to refund you after the purchase.
Refunds won’t be processed until after the return window has closed. You must request a refund at that time, and
we will be happy to do that.
Refunds:
If you are unhappy with an item, please message Artemis Teal
first. Sometime items can be discounted
or refunded directly. To return an item, re-box or package the item
so that it arrives safely, and purchase postage. Mail it within the allowed
window. Be sure the item is tracked and
that tracking information appears on your E-bay Return Request.
Postage is refunded by your chosen postal vendor, not via E-bay
or Artemis Teal. If you choose to file
an E-bay refund, items must be wrapped and shipped back to us in the same
manner as you received them. Items worn, damaged, altered, marked, stretched,
shrunk, chipped, broken, stressed, or changed will not be refunded. Items
damaged during your return shipping will not be refunded.
Non-Refundable Items:
Some items are not refundable. These may include books,
health and beauty items, hair items, some safety items, items put into or onto
another item, some jewelry, puzzles, cards, etc. Also, new items that you have opened cannot
be returned or refunded. Items that have been removed from their packaging or
sealed bags or partially used items cannot be refunded. Also, items that you
may have worn, washed, dried, sewn, dry-cleaned, altered, hemmed, written on, shortened,
lengthened, faded, partially used or sprayed, folded, bent, gotten wet,
stretched out, etc. cannot be returned or refunded. Holiday items are not
refundable after the holiday. Items that you do not pack properly and that
break during return shipping are also not refundable.
Blocking:
Buyers who cancel orders, return items improperly, lie to E-bay,
misuse the returns process, dox, complain, threaten, argue, swear, fail to
handle returns well, enter 3rd party shipping locations, are
unprofessional or unkind, or who use argumentative, threatening, improper,
rude, dangerous, political, shaming, mean-spirited, abusive, or name-calling
language will be blocked and/or reported.
