Our brand story - a family heritage:

This vintage necklace comes from my family’s jewellery-making heritage. It was assembled and hand-strung by my late grandmother, Jose Southgate, a skilled bead worker and pearl stringer who inspired my own love of jewellery from an early age.

Jose worked at Liberty in London and was deeply influenced by the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. Many of the beads and stones she used were sourced through her father, James Janes, a gemmologist who imported precious and semi-precious materials to Victorian London in the early 20th century.

Each vintage piece is one of a kind — once sold, it cannot be restocked.
