This charming calendar plate was made by Wedgwood in the World of Peter Rabbit series (Frederick Warne) for 2003. The design shows Peter approaching a grocery store that advertises ginger & pickles and has bags of apples and nuts sitting by the doorways; squirrels and robins are watching. The cute scene is framed by garlands of flowers and a thick band of dark green.

The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The back has a clear mark for "Peter Rabbit | Copyright Frederick Warne & Co. 2002 | Wedgwood | England 1759." There is also the original store bar code paper label still fixed to the back.
