So if you have a magnetic holder and an older iPhone or an Android phone, you can use this metal ring if there are several of you who would like to use the same Fix2Car magnetic mobile holder. When using this ring, it is a good idea, if your phone can accept wireless charging, not to use wireless charging when you have this ring on, because you will not be able to hit the phone's charging point exactly and the phone will risk instead just being really hot and maybe not charging at all (wireless).
