This Squier Strat was made in Japan and it’s in good structural and cosmetic condition and appears to be mostly original throughout.  It has its original FS1 Locking Tremolo, which includes the arm. The previous owner swapped out the locking nut for string trees but the locking nut is included. Fender tuners, pickups, pots, etc. appear to be original, neck is 1 5/8" wide at the nut, string scale is the usual 25 1/2".  The body is basswood and the neck is maple. All of the controls work well with no scratchiness or pops. The frets show a little wear but are in otherwise good shape (see photo). The screws in the pickguard show some tarnish and rust but they are original so we opted to leave them (there are some shiny replacements in the string pocket). Note the light corrosion around the  the output jack.   The original finish is in excellent condition with minor small dings and edge wear, which we've tried to show in the photos.

These photos are part of the description and you can zoom in for more detail, but relying on your cellphone may not allow you to see as much as on a larger display.

Includes a recent vintage Fender molded plastic case, which is an upgrade over the original.
