Medieval leather pouch in medium size.

The medieval leather pouch is made from a single round piece of cowhide and is closed with a leather strap.

Leather pouches have been in use for ages - simply because they are so practical.  Leather pouches have been used since ancient times, in the Middle Ages and by the Vikings and were a natural part of everyday life until well into the 19th century.

The medieval leather pouch in medium size is, like all our leather pouches, generously cut from a single piece. Due to the generous folds, the pouch can hold an enormous amount compared to its size.

The leather pouch is made of soft nappa leather in five colours.

Ø 20 cm = approx. 7 x 6 cm.- perfect for a handful of coins or tobacco.
