1.25 inches high, 1.25 inches wide. Made of plated copper. I believe this "4" unit in the Austrian army, comprised of only Jewish men, celebrated Yom Kippur in September of 1917 and this cap badge was handed out. Underneath the Ten Commandments in Hebrew, in very small lettering it says "Arkanzas Bdpest Vedve". Arkanzas was a known manufacturer of Austrian army WWI cap badges, the next word is Budapest that is shortened, and Vedve is Hungarian for Patented. This is quite rare. In beautiful condition, looks better in person, has a nice matte-like patina.
