Released in South Korea during the early 1990s wrestling boom, this rare vintage “Hulk Hogan vs Warrior” figure set was produced by Oh Sung Toy when WWF (now WWE) became extremely popular among Korean children and collectors.

During the late 1980s and early 1990s, WWF gained massive popularity in Korea through televised matches, VHS tapes, magazines, and imported Hasbro wrestling figures. Following the trend, several Korean toy companies created their own wrestling-themed toys, and this is one of the most unique examples from that era.

This set features stylized soft vinyl (“sofubi”-style) figures inspired by Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior on an original Korean-language blister card. The figures have a charming vintage bootleg / funny toy appearance that is highly collectible among retro wrestling and oddball toy collectors today.

Even though the sculpt is somewhat humorous, many details such as the championship belts, trunks, wristbands, and wrestler color schemes were recreated with impressive effort.
