OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Goodyear offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire upgrades the all weather traction with the ideal tread design and the all season compound. The tread's ActiveGrip technology optimizes the siping placement along the tread area which boosts the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in dry, wet and winter conditions. The tread design upgrades the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, enabling the tire's safer grip in versatile temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they eliminate water and slush from the footprint and optimize the road surface contact during the tire's performance.

Versatile technologies help ensure the tire's secure high speed performance and controllability. The ActiveStrength technology provides a lightweight construction which eases the pressure off the tire, enabling the tire to securely perform at its greatest high speed capability. This, along with the ActiveGrip technology, also improves the controllability. These technologies optimize the surface contact and the structural stability to greatly enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The special ActiveBraking technology improves the braking ability. It optimizes the 3D sipe placement, for them to generate friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking, which greatly shortens the braking distance. This combination ensures the driver's full control over the vehicle throughout its performance.

The tire features a special Tread Wear Gauge tool which enables the driver to visually follow the tread wear rate of the tire. This tool places numbers along the tread area which wear out along with the tread. The numbers represent the tread in 32nds of an inch. These numbers wear out along with the tread which offers a visual representation of the tread depth left on the tire. In this manner, the driver can easily follow the tread wear with ease and they can also take precautions to change the tire before its tread is completely worn.

The Eagle Exhilarate protects its rims from damage. The sleeker sidewall styling guards the wheels from curb damage to offer a safer driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
