Very scarce Goldscheider Vienna Figurine of the 1920s A standing dancer looking to the side with arms crossed and raised in front of her is shown. The young lady wears a Russian costume, decorated with elaborate blue embroidery, with a high fur cap and a highly tailored, fur-lined coat with wide sleeves, tight trousers and high, black heeled boots. Behind her, a high table with a discarded blue-green scarf serves as a support. The figure is based on a cream-colored, faceted round base, with the artist's signature 'Laurenzl' on the back of the top.

Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892-1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920-1940.   made circa 1925
