very well made - I called these the japanese ambassador 
- action, star drag, reel drag, release all work as expected as well as the bail. with 2 ball bearings and all metal construction despite the boat rash to the green finish, there are years of fishing left on this reel. I cleaned it up some, you can take that as far as you like. tested and working.
