This monumental coffee pot features brilliantly cast Greek mask crowned handle, mask support
spout and mask panel supported rim, along with lion standing with shield finial.
Never monogrammed.
The c1863 Greek Revival coffee pot 12 inches tall & 10 inches
from handle to spout weighs over 44 standard ounces.
Hallmarked as shown. The identical hallmark illustrated in Carpenter page 229 and used
only two years by Gorham.
In very, very fine, near perfect condition.
Interior perfectly clean as if never used.
Rich silver patina.
Retains the original hand carved, and cast detail throughout.
Handle secure and in fine state.
Stands firm on table.
Cover closes flush.
No dents, scratches repairs.
Only 2 tiny chips missing from handle's original heat stops.
