Yamaha DX7 Blue LED Backlight LCD Replacement Display Module with Hardware and Manual
About the Yamaha DX7 The Yamaha DX7, released in 1983, is one of the most iconic FM synthesis synthesizers in music history. Used by countless professional musicians and producers worldwide, the DX7 remains highly sought after in the vintage synthesizer market. One of its most common issues is the degraded original LCD display, which lacks a backlight and becomes nearly unreadable with age. This product is a purpose-built blue LED backlit LCD replacement module designed specifically for the DX7. The blue backlight pairs beautifully with the DX7's classic black panel, giving it a cool and modern look.

Installation Notes Wiring connects via the original coupler connector for easy installation, but minor modification to the mounting bracket is required. The contrast adjustment potentiometer on the DX7 main board has a very wide range; this module has been pre-adjusted on the LCD side to narrow the effective range for easier fine-tuning. This is a modification — installation is performed entirely at the buyer's own risk.
⚠️ Important Notice This is a replacement part for the Yamaha DX7 only. Basic electronic assembly skills are required for installation.
