These modern postcards are inspired by traditional Victorian and Edwardian Christmas cards and postal art, which became hugely popular in Britain during the late 19th century.
Vintage Christmas postcard imagery often featured holly, robins, Father Christmas, candles, and snowy cottages ā symbols still strongly associated with nostalgic festive celebrations today.
The aged appearance and painterly illustrations intentionally recreate the cosy charm of antique seasonal ephemera.
The first commercially produced Christmas card was commissioned in Britain in 1843 by Sir Henry Cole, helping launch the tradition of sending festive greetings cards around the world šš®
Vintage-style Christmas artwork remains especially popular with crafters and journal enthusiasts because of its timeless nostalgic appeal.
Brand new.
