Beautiful hand painted landscape décor featuring trees, water, and scenic motifs. Attractive mid-century Japanese ceramic tableware / decorative serving set.

Condition:

Vintage preowned condition with age-appropriate wear and manufacturing characteristics typical of hand painted Japanese ceramics.

Please review photos closely and read details below:

* General light scuffing / shelf wear to bottoms and undersides consistent with age, storage, and use.

* Visible glaze irregularities, kiln marks, firing specks, and misfire / glaze bubbles or pops in places, consistent with vintage hand painted Japanese pottery production.

* Minor paint variation, glaze variation, and handmade production inconsistencies throughout.

* One cruet stopper has a small chip on the inside / underside area (not especially noticeable when in place).

* Salt and pepper shakers are missing their original plastic stoppers.

* One shaker currently has foil / tinfoil stuffed into the opening.

* Spoon appears matching/original to the set and has the slightly irregular handmade character typical of this type of pottery.

* Typical bottom wear from age present across pieces.

* I do not see any major cracks or large breaks, but please inspect photos carefully for your own assessment of condition.

A very attractive and decorative vintage Japanese table set with strong display appeal.

Sold as is. Will ship safely in (possibly) recycled materials.

NOTE: All pieces are individually wrapped. Some are very small, like the spoon. For maximum safety against breakage, please keep “this end up” and I’d also suggest unwrapping individual items over a towel or something to cushion against accidental falls.
