Vintage decorative ceramic bed warmer / hot water bottle by Heron Cross Pottery of Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Finished in a cream glaze with cobalt blue stopper and end cap, featuring a charming hand-painted pig design to the front.

This appears to be a decorative ornamental piece rather than a functional hot water bottle, as the stopper appears fixed and there is a small manufacturing vent hole to the base.
