Slipped inside a sleeping bag it forms a washable barrier that cuts contamination from sweat and body oils, extending the time between bag washes without any meaningful loss of insulation. It also works on its own as a lightweight travel sheet in warm weather, hostels, huts and base camps. At just 200g and packing to 15 x 9cm in the supplied stuff sack, it disappears into any kit.
