Mr. Ryuichi Hara is the son of Mr. Koji Hara, one of Japan’s leading custom knife makers, and is himself a custom knife maker who in recent years has attracted more attention overseas than in Japan under the name “Dew HARA.”

KAO (“Kao”) is a folding knife inspired by cherry blossom petals.
With a cherry blossom pattern decorated in silver leaf, cutout details, and a cute, rounded form, it is an especially charming knife.

The blade is made of Damascus steel. The handle features a three-dimensional petal inlay made of titanium anodized pink, serving as a striking accent.
