Lightly cleaned, not polished. The acrylic/lucite face cover is in good condition with minimal visible scratching. Please see photos for condition of brass. I've been running this clock for a few days now and it seems to be in good order. There's an adjustment for fast/slow which does just that. The alarm works and the day rolls over. I pack items carefully so that there is no movement (pun?) of the item in the box during shipping. It should arrive in working order. 

Measurements of the clocks face-up surface are about 4.5" x 3.5". It's about 2.5" tall at the highest point.
