What should I do if Auto VIN doesn't work?
Auto VIN feature is available for 99% of vehicles. If it takes a long time to get the VIN code automatically, please input the VIN manually. You can also try manually selecting your vehicle make, model and year.
Does this scanner support bi-directional control?
No. NT604 Elite is an entry-level diagnostic and code reading tool. It does not support bi-directional control, actuator testing or ECU programming. For these functions, please consider our FOXWELL NT630 Plus or NT716.
How do I update the software?
Software updates are done via USB connection to a Windows computer. Download the update software from FOXWELL official website, register your device, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest software.
Does this scanner support service reset functions?
No. NT604 Elite only supports diagnostic functions (read/clear codes, view live data). It does not support any service reset functions such as oil reset, EPB reset or ABS bleeding. For service reset functions, please consider our FOXWELL NT624 Elite or NT716.
