Comments

Banknotes bearing Shipov's signature were issued across the Russian Empire, the Provisional Government, and the R.S.F.S.R. As a result, there are known variants based on the letter prefix (P#10) or block number (P#35) of the note. These differences are listed as follows:

(1): Prefixes ЗЯ-ОО. Issued by the Russian Empire.

(2): Prefixes ОП-ТУ. Block numbers УА-001–УА-043. Issued by the Provisional Government.

(3): Block numbers УА-044–УА-200, УБ-401–УБ-512. Issued by the Russian Socialist Federated Soviet Republic (R.S.F.S.R.).

The order of the Cyrillic alphabet for these prefixes is А, Б, В, Г, Д, Е, З, И, К, Л, М, Н, О, П, Р, С, Т, У, Ф, Х, Ц, Ч, Ъ, Ь, Ѣ, Э, Я, Ѳ.
