Used Photography Equipment
The Schneider-Kreuznach 80mm f/5.6 W.A. Componon is a high-performance, Wide-Angle enlarging lens designed for 6x6cm (medium format) negatives. Launched around 1973, it is highly regarded for its, sharpness even wide open, and superior coverage for making large prints. The lens features a multi-blade aperture, allowing for smooth and precise exposure control during printing. Like most enlarger lenses, it’s optimised for flat-field sharpness rather than creative depth-of-field effects, ensuring edge-to-edge clarity on your prints.
Lens is in excellent condition and benefits from the aperture ring clicking at each spot. This is lovely and smooth and clicks as should. The aperture blades are also clean. Optically the lens is also in good condition especially for the age.
