The Nikon ML-L6 Remote Control is a dedicated wireless accessory designed specifically for the Nikon KeyMission series of action cameras. Unlike traditional infrared remotes, it utilizes a Bluetooth connection for reliable control without requiring a direct line-of-sight.
Its oversized buttons are designed for gloved operation, making it ideal for winter sports, diving prep, and outdoor adventures. It allows you to remotely trigger the shutter for still images and start/stop video recording without touching the camera, ensuring stability and preventing shake.

💡 Usage Tips
- Pairing: Press and hold the Power Button until the LED blinks to enter pairing mode, then follow the camera's menu instructions.
- Glove-Friendly: The large button design allows for easy pressing even with ski gloves or diving gloves.
- Battery Orientation: When installing the CR2032 battery, ensure the positive (+) side faces UP, and align the N mark on the cover with the R mark on the remote before turning clockwise to lock.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Underwater Prohibition: This remote is NOT waterproof. Do not use it underwater or expose it to heavy rain.
- Connection Type: This is a Bluetooth remote. It will not work with cameras that only support IR (infrared) remotes.
- Compatibility: It is not compatible with Nikon Z-series mirrorless, D-series DSLRs, or COOLPIX cameras.
- Range: Optimal performance is within Bluetooth range (typically ~10m without obstacles).
