• • All lenses focus at least to infinity, some may focus just a little beyond. So if your lens isn't sharp when the focus ring is set to the infinity mark, it's because of the way the lens works Focal length (FFD) and that in Allen lenses of this type manufactured over the years we have to compensate for the differences in tolerance. The best way to ensure proper focus is to focus visually using the viewfinder or camera screen, not the distance markings, as they may not line up correctly.
• • Since this is a manual adapter, lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted.
• • Some cameras need to be set up in a specific way to work with our adapters. Otherwise, you may receive a message such as “Lens not attached error – check lens”.

• Because manual lens adapters do not provide power to the lens, these lenses cannot focus.
• • Set your exposure manually or using your camera's aperture priority (stop) mode.
• • If your lens does not have a manual aperture ring, the lens aperture will reset to its default position, which will either be stopped down to its maximum aperture stop or opened to its smallest aperture stop, depending on the lens.
