Susan Oliver was transformed into Vina, the first Orion Slave Girl, in "The Cage" episode while Yvonne Craig portrayed Marta, a dancing Orion Slave Girl, in the "Whom Gods Destroy" episode.

Since Mego did not make an Orion Slave Girl action figure in the 1970s, many collectors would like to create a custom figure with "original mego" parts.

The back of the body is marked "Mego Corp / MCMLXXII / Pat. Pending / Made in / Hong Kong".
