THE SLIDER IS THE DIE CAST PART WHICH THE KNOB ATTACHES TO AND YOU GRAB WITH YOUR FINGERS TO SELECT, HOT, COLD, DEFROST OR FAN. WHY REPLACE THE ENTIRE HEATER OR A/C CONTROL WHEN YOU CAN JUST REPLACE THE SLIDERS.
